About

I am an ER doctor and educator living in the heart of the Canadian prairies – Saskatoon. I work at four different emergency departments – one of which is a pediatric ER.

I wear many hats including being the assistant program director for the FRCPC EM residency program, being a member of the ER executive and the director for continuous professional learning.

I really love hanging at home with my beautiful wife Katie and [officially] 2 cats.

In the winter I tend to work on educational projects and play stable-hand for Katie and the other four legged child.

In the summertime I can usually be found playing golf at the Saskatoon GCC

My educational interests are pediatrics, toxicology and medical education.

I’m trying to share my everyday experience as an academic ER doc. My blogs  contain links to other resources [so click on the links]. I hope that you find them useful and welcome feedback.

My tag line was from a skit from the Two Ronnie’s … it has stuck with me all these years.
